Greetings fellow internationalists,
The D1260 International e-bulletin is attached
On behalf of Chairman John Versey and D1260 ISC, I have great pleasure in attaching your personal copy of the Autumn Edition of D1260's International E-Bulletin. Apologies if you received this before but my email system has being playing up and I have no way of knowing whether it was sent, let alone received.
The second edition for this year is packed full of interest. It includes: An extract from RIP D.K. Lee's speech on Child mortality and a link to this site of a supporting Resource guide entitled 'Things You Can Do'; DG Les comments on the wider Rotary impact of the global financial downturn; There's lots on International Friendship Exchange; An update on Playpumps and Stevenage Grange's ROI (Make blindness history) initiative, and of course an outline of the Half year rally on 26th November.
It comes as a 2 page issue. Could I suggest you print it double sided for circulation to Club members, if you are minded to do so.
A downloadable pdf version, along with other documents referred to, is also available from the D1260 website, should you wish to refer to it. Hit Documents/International and select the E-Bulletin or use this link for simplicity
With a good variety of speakers at the International half year meeting, at Tilsworth on 26th November, we hope to see you there. Please book in with Paul Manning by the 10th of November to reserve your grub.
Best wishes,
Stephen, D1260 International Communications, Stevenage Grange RC
PS Please send your copy for the next edition in by December 21st. Thanks
