Hi Stephen. The new e- bulletin is excellent in building awareness of
International Service. Apart from the "RI Polio Challenge" and "RIBI Schools
4 All" there are no District projects proposed for this year. This bulletin
therefore very nicely fills the knowledge gap for those clubs either wishing
to find a project or to promote and inform on their projects associated with
Literacy, Water and Health and Hunger especially where children are
involved.
Many Thanks

Dear fellow internationalists,
On behalf of DISC Chairman John Versey and the Committee, I write to advise
that the first International e-bulletin has now been published on the D1260
web site. It is available from this link
http://www.rotary1260.org.uk/component/option,com_docman/task,doc_download/g
id,60/Itemid,54/
The first issue looks to provide a series of information sources that some
may not be aware of. Future editions, whilst being kept tight, will
hopefully feature some club plans and achievements. So if you would like to
publicise or promote an international project of 'happening' that would have
district-wide interest please do email me with a short outline - 2 or 3
lines and a web link to the substance.
In the next issue we will provide guidance on how to place an article or
document directly onto the D1260 web site to help your Club gain wider
recognition or support. That might be particularly useful for those that do
not have access to web writing / storage facilities, or those that feel less
comfortable with web technology.
Best wishes,
Stephen

PS Apologies for the third mailing for some. A learning point for all: Do
not include any hypertext (Plain English - linking that to a URL or webpage)
in your emails to this address as the system will drop the link and just
show the plain English word - in this case 'link'
