To members of the District 1260 International Committee,

Dear all,

Overnight Craig resolved a couple of outstanding glitches, so we are now ready to subscribe all Club contacts in D1260. That will be done today.

As most of the earlier postings were administrative in nature, we have erased all previous mailings from the archive to start with a clean sheet.

For information the sequence of 'public' events will be:
1. Subscribe all Club contacts (Monday - SMS)
2. Send a short email to all confirming our welcome, provide a link to the customised 'help page', point them in to a new project page Guru and I have designed and remind them that a wealth on information is on the D1260 International 'site' (Wednesday - SMS)
3. Advise the DG, AG's etc that the site is live and invite them to consider joining (Friday-SMS)
4. First Bulletin to be issued (shortly - SMS)

The help page is temporarily available from http://www.roisight.org/D1260/e-grouptips.pdf

The new Project Sheet can be downloaded in word from http://www.roisight.org/D1260/Clubintlprojectformjuly08.doc or the District 1260 International home page.

Chairman John - I understand you have some 2008/9 project sheets. Could I ask you to type up the details onto the new form and send them to me electronically. I will then arrange to post them onto the web and start building the summary. Thanks.

If you have anything you want to include in the first Bulletin could you send it to me electronically at my personal email address (not through the e-group).

Two final points:

You will have noticed that the welcome page asks subscribers to contact their District Club link, so be ready to be inundated with requests for support !!

Until this settles down could I suggest that if you have any urgent (all Club) posts you send them either to John (V) or me for prior consideration.

Many thanks,
Stephen
